Client Objectives / Situation

- Locate property for three separate requirements

Activities / Initiatives

- Assignment 1 invloved relocation of an existing operation into a "crane" building at a remote distance from any residential housing

- Assignment 2 required land acquisition for the business in the future

- Assignment 3 was acquisition of an adjacent neighbouring property

Results Delivered

- Assignment 1 - A 66,000 sq. ft. "crane in place" building in a heavy industrial area of Brampton was acquired. The crane capacity and clear ceiling height were "right on" the required specifications and the acquisition cost was well below the replacement cost

- Assignment 2 - Displacement from our Canadian Head Office location at Jane Street and Highway 7 in Vaughan will necessitate relocation. The 50 acre land purchase, also in Vaughan, gives Toromont great flexibility for the future

- Assignment 3 - Convinced Hertz to sell adjacent property in Cambridge to Toromont CAT for expansion of existing operation
